With a full membership of around 400, including a thriving Ladies Section and a Junior Section numbering just over 100, Tapton Park Golf Club welcomes all levels of golfer.
The Golf Club's core values include the principle of equal opportunity. With a large Junior Section with ages ranging from 5 years upwards, we have a comprehensive Child Protection Policy which allows young people to enjoy golf in a safe environment.
Maintaining these values, all sections link together through an innovative Co-ordinating Committee, ensuring everyone has an equal voice.
Tapton Park Golf Club has adopted the Equity Statement issued jointly by The English Golf Union and The English Ladies Golf Association.
Accreditations
Club of the Year 2006 - The club is the holder of the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire Sports Awards 2006 Club of the Year, awarded in the face of competition from hundreds of other clubs of all types in the area.
Golf Mark High Achiever - In November 2008 Tapton Park Golf Club was awarded the prestigious Golf Mark High Achiever qualification assuring golf's highest standards.
Golfmark Club of the Year 2008 - In March 2009 Tapton Park was named Golfmark Club of the Year affirming the achievement of the club of recent years through the commitment to junior golf and beginner golf.
