Environmental Policy

Sheffield International Venues recognises that our operations have a direct impact on the environment. The policy has been introduced to reduce this impact and wherever possible enhance the environment through our operations.

Under this policy Sheffield International Venues are committed to continually improve our environmental performance through the following methods:
Improve our energy efficiency throughout all our sites
Wherever viable seek alternate forms of green energy for our sites
Reduce waste to the lowest practicable minimum and promote re-cycling
Actively encourage similar environmental standards from our suppliers and contractors
Reduce the use of raw materials wherever possible
Work to comply with and exceed all environmental legislation and codes of practice
Assess and minimise the negative affect of any historic, current and future operations
Encourage more environmentally sound transport solutions to staff and customers alike

Reports will be issued yearly to the Board to update on how we are progressing under the policy.

This policy has been brought to the attention of all employees, contractors, and suppliers and copies are freely available to the general public, regulatory authorities and customers.

This policy has been formalised and endorsed by the company's directors.
